questionsmiley My hubby can come up with some great activities for our kids.  This summer he has started "Dad's Questions To Ponder".  These questions are designed to inspire problem solving skills, creative thinking and improve their writing skills.

"Dad's Questions To Ponder" the other day was, "Things kids can do better than adults and why?"  I thought you would enjoy the list my 8 year old put together.

  • Sleep Faster (more) - because kids get a lot longer time to sleep
  • Dodgeball - because kids have better reflexes
  • Ripstick - because adults have to work more than kids.  When I asked him what he meant by this, he said, "Adults have to work all day and kids have more free time to practice"
  • Silly - because kids have more imagination
  • Laughing - because kids tell more jokes more often

and my favorite two answers are

  • Put clothes on faster - because Moms and Dads care about what they are wearing
  • Go to the bathroom faster - the adults read (newspaper)

I hope you enjoy these and look for more "Dad's Questions To Ponder".  These questions will be included in the "Camp Cammie Series" (educational ideas for summer) in which I review our theme for the week.

I would love to find out what you or your kids can come up with.  Comment below and share your clever or funny answers.

Re: Things Kids Can Do Better Than Adults And Why - Answers From An 8 Year Old

A few of my kids' responses include:
Kids are more flexible because kid's joints are better.
Kids are better at Guitar Hero because they have more time to practice than adults.
Kids are better at building Legos because adult minds are old and raspy.

Fun question, thanks for the idea!

Biba,
That is cracking me up! Love the legos and the old and raspy mind. Obviously they are talking about Geoff! hehehe
