It's that time again... my housekeeper comes today. How did I get to the point of needing a maid for my housekeeper? Well, I guess in a sense it is pretty easy. Occupy yourself with other things that you think are more important than cleaning up. : ) For the last 2 weeks, I have told myself I am going to pack up the Christmas stuff. MMM HMMM, it's still out. My kids even stacked everything in a pile, hoping I would take the hint. I just need to put it in boxes and stash away until next year.
Why am I having a hard time getting this done? Maybe it means the new year has started, which means making resolutions. I'm not so good at goals. My typical goal for the last few years has been gain weight, don't exercise and eat bad! This year it is get a maid for my housekeeper!
I just realized not only is that not in the budget, but what am I teaching my kids!?! So, I will make one goal today. No, make that two - put away Christmas stuff AND be a better role model to my kids.
